This stuff is under-rated. Luckily, I live in Japan, where it is readily available. It also costs about 3100 yen (a touch under $30) for a liter. It's well-balanced. It has notes of caramel, vanilla, prunes, tobacco, and leather. I enjoy it year round. I occasionally try more expensive bourbon, but I always return to Wild Turkey 8-year. It would be delicious at any price.3100.0 JPY per Bottle

This is impressive stuff. It 's not flashy. But it's very good. It has the rounded corn smoothness of some finer bourbons (without the roughness). But it also has some honeyed fruitiness that you'd find in well-aged scotch. It also has a fairly oily quality that is satisfying. I live in Japan, but it's hard to find, even here. However, I did recently buy two bottles for 2180 yen apiece. That's a liter of this fine nectar for about $40. Not bad.2180.0 JPY per Bottle
