Simply beautiful. Nose- candy and rum butter, very sweet Palate- fruut, baking spices, sugar Finish- spicy, duh it's a rye , but not too strong at all. I could sip on this all year round. Great pick up at 85.00 with tax in TN

Tasted Neat. nose: sweet, definitely get wine. cherries or berries palate: berries, creamy, sweet finish: long, spicy and bit bitter on my second dram and I'm just not getting much out if it. Palate was overloaded. It opens up a bit with a little ice and mixes well with Ginger Beer though. 36.99 so not mad. It can be a mixer, wonder what kind of cocktails can be made out of it...

Darker color than.1856; you can see it's been aged longer. Lingering smokey but sweet tone with some TN heat on the end. Good sipper.

so good.. sweet, buttery and reminded me of almonds and caramel popcorn.

Trying hard to like this, but alas I don't think it's for me. At least I'm learning what I like and what I clearly have a distaste for...tasted it at the distillery and was impressed, or so I thought ...had my bottle for a few months now and finally opened it last week. I'm on my third dram and all I'm getting is wheat and grass and malt on my palate. Nose is impeccable though- sweet and light, tiny bit of grassiness. The finish is bitter to me from the malt. It's a bit young and underdeveloped. Going back to the distillery twice this weekend for events. I'll see what else they have to offer. Buy and drink local.

Very light with a warm spice on the end. nose-I get the pear but not much else, not sure where the cherries are, maybe it's just me palate- fruit but not sure it's cherry finish- spice and something I can't describe that I don't care for.... Not very good notes, but you can only taste so much in a day.

No bad nose-ethanol, baking spices, citrus palate- vanilla, slight alcohol, sweet, spicy finish-slightly smooth, smoky, nutty

nose: corn, sugary sweet, caramel palate: high corn, sweet but also grainy finish- the rye shines..spicy finish.
