This is not an easy sipper. For the price I was hoping it would be a little smoother and have a little more character. Got this bottle for $60 and was underwhelmed. Ended up using this in cocktails just to use it up. This is a blend of other small batches, and it definitely feels like a Jack of all trades, master of none. There are better options out there less than half the price. Wasn’t my cup of bourbon but worth a try.

I really want to love this due to the lack of wheated bourbons in my area, but there’s something about it that leaves a lot to be desired. Decently smooth, decent taste, decent nose. I guess that sums it up. Decent. Not bad, but not memorable.

Received as a birthday gift as I love all things Sinatra, this does not disappoint. Very much an easy sipper. Smooth, smoked vanilla all the down. If I could afford it this would be a an easy every day drink.

This is a great overall bourbon, especially for the price . Nice sweetness and flavor. Hardly any harshness for 100 proof. Easy sipper and really great in cocktails.

Has a pretty decent nose, sweet, nutty with a little acetone. Definitely has a good amount of heat and spice. Not worth a sip but makes a pretty good cocktail. When I go up to Vermont I always stop at Mad River’s bar for a cocktail, pretty much what I buy this for.

This was a little hot on the front for me. The flavor was probably too complex for my simpleton taste buds, but there was a good bit of acetone, I know the proof would provide more heat, but I was hoping it would be smoother. The finish, however, was excellent. This would probably make a mean old fashioned, which is what I plan to try next.

Fun whiskey. Hardly any burn, tons of peanut butter flavor. I love peanut butter and this definitely satisfies my sweet tooth. Wouldn’t drink this regularly, but it’s a nice light drink, a good breakfast spirit with some toast or a muffin.

I’m not sure why this isn’t getting more love aside from the price. At cask strength I thought it would have more of an ethanol presence, but this was pleasantly smooth with some nice warmth on the back end. Nose to me consisted of apricot and butterscotch. Palate was sweeter than I expected at CS but had good flavor, not overly complex, but a solid bourbon profile. A long finish with nice warmth/burn. Not thin as others stated, I thought this was fairly viscous with a nice oily mouthfeel.

I’m not a huge fan of flavored bourbons, but this is one of my favorite to sip neat during the fall and winter months. Something about the warmth and sweetness is comforting. Not too overpowering with the maple flavor.
