Tastes

I wish i could taste the different flavors like other people posted. When i smell it it clears my sinuses and anlittle nasal burn but also get oak wood smell. Lip butn right up fron hot and heavy. It tones down but lips tingle for several mins. I do get a few flavors of clove and vanilla but also smacks som heat. Im just not good with high proof yet.

I get an oak smell up front. It definitely has lip burn on first sip but doesnt burn much going down. I cant detect the apple wood taste. But i get a leather or raisin taste. But probably since im still learning whiskey

T dump 1/19/23. It has a little bite. But mellows as the ice ball melts. Drank it straight since it’s first time I’ve ever had blantons and this is the bottle we got when we went to Buffalo trace.

First time drinking it. Wasn’t sure what to expect different from A Canadian whiskey. But it is good. Has a stern bite right up front but mellows as it cools on ice. Tried it straight but had to add a luxardo cherry and angostura bitters to really enjoy it

First time drinking this. Still dont onow if i like wheats or not yet. This was tough neat. But good with angastora bitters and a luxardo cherry. A little lip burn up front but alot of burn going down. Not what i expected at 90 proof. Will drink it again though

Has a pleasant smell before tasting. First taste had more bite than i expected from the aroma. Has quite a bite right up front and a little burn going down. Definitely mellows after a few sips. Really good with anluxardo cherry.

As a newbie to bourbon i really love this one. Was able to drink it straight but enjoyed it more with two dashes of angastora bitters and a luxardo cherry and small ice ball. Really smooth. I definitely pick up a smokey flavor and a little bite going down. But easy to drink and enjoy

As a newbie on this bourbon effort this one is a bit eough for me. Tried it neat first. Got some real lip burn up front and a burn going down. Then added some angathora bitters, a cherry and ice ball. Still some burn but the flavor is really good.
