    This drink has a punch. The flavor is strong and last for days. The higher ABV gives you control to the flavor profile. A true gem.

    A little young with a slight burn on the finish. On the note and palate it was sweet with hints of fruits like pineapple, pears and a little grass and musk.

    I had the pleasure to try this exquisite rum a few days ago. I had enough to say this is a great experience for any rum aficionado. The nose was full and rich with caramel, chocolate and a little tobacco. But the palate and the finish were smooth and silky and was craving more as soon as my taste was over. The flavor lingers a little while, which is what you want when drinking this special spirit. The only way to get it is at their Visitor’s Center in Puerto Rico.

    The nose is noticeable different from other Chivas. The palate is sweet and fruity and mellow. The finish is smooth considering this is 12 years. Not a bad drink.

    My first Papa's Pillar Rum. This is a special and limited release, so if you are looking for a good sipping rum that is not going to break the bank, this could be an option. In Northern Virginia, the cost is similar to a Kirk & Sweeney 23, and the profile and taste are similar, but the Marquesas Blend has a more chocolate, coffee aroma and flavor, which for me makes it stand out from Kirk & Sweeney 23/18, Diplomatico Gran Reserva, Ron Zacappa 23. The palate is rich and complex and the finish is long and smooth.

    This rum has flavor for miles. This is a strooong rum, but the flavor is amazing. On the nose I got sweetness and tobacco, but with a little ice the flavor became more intense and profile reminded me of Appleton Estate 21 or El Dorado 21, which have a good tobacco and leather nose.

    The profile is similar to the regular Breckenridge, but although this is high proof. Is not that harsh. Over ice, this goes well.

    Had a bit of dram of this beautiful whisky. The nose and palate is classical Adberg, peat, saltiness and a bit of sulfur. But this had some fruity flavor in the background. This addition took this to a higher level. Very good to add to your collection.

    Classic bourbon notes, but not as strong as Four Roses. With ice, the corn notes comes to the front.
