It's Islay so there is a peatiness, but a nice mild ammount of peat that playfully pats the peat to yer pallet. ...Peat... Its smooth, with carmel and leather, and a toasted peanut brittle that was left in the oven a little too long. Burnt. Burnt peanut brittle thats now a tad bitter. Were you eating peanut brittle, you'd wretch, but for scotch, its actually a pretty inviting little note. Like being deep in the woods and finding an old stucco n wood tudor cottage that has been abandoned for 200 years. Open that door and take a musky whiff. Thats Bowmore. Like being transported to old world scotland with a hint if Hansell and Gretel.

William Larue Weller Bourbon (Fall 2015)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 16, 2018 (edited September 30, 2020)Gad damn that's good. Maybe the best smelling whiskey I've ever had the privilege to have. Neat is a little harsh cause of the proof, but you can tell it's expensive. Any harshness evaporates quickly and you are left with a dusty sweet leather that quickly brings you to a card game with Doc Holiday and you've got a full house. The saloon is staring at you, wondering with baited eyes, what you are going to do. Bet it all, cause this moment is rare. A great whiskey, but enjoy it, dash it with water after your first sip. Your trip to the past should last longer than this whiskey will in your glass.25.0 USD per Pour -
Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed November 14, 2018 (edited November 16, 2018)I've had good bottles, I've had ok bottles, and I've had bottles that have tasted better than blue label side by side. So, unfortunately, it's inconsistent but overall it's underrated. My go to Scotch. Superb smell (nose if yer a douche). Taste is good and the burn is minimal. I like it a lot.45.0 USD per Bottle -
George T. Stagg Bourbon (Fall 2017)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 14, 2018 (edited November 16, 2018)Too much punch neat. nice flavors. Old leather, and like licking the floor of an abandoned dusty saloon, in a good way. That said, nice, but overpriced and overrated.25.0 USD per Pour -
very nice. The perfect blend of smooth, soft peat, and good overall taste. bought a bottle that i've been staring at for a year for $139. Worth it? Hell yes. Problem is that its too good. i could drink a few glasses neat in one sitting, and at that price its a dangerous combination. Love it.139.0 USD per Bottle
