Classic Islay scotch! Rich flavor. Lovely peat, sea salt, and dried fruits dance in a melodic symphony of flavors. A wonderful dram indeed! Go buy one...

While this dram is certainly better than the ubiquitous 14 year Oban, it’s not great. The peat is barely evident. It’s a decent mouthful with a medium finish...but not outstanding by any means

A very rich dram with just the right amount of spice up front. Beautiful mid-notes with some soft vanilla and warm raisins. The finish is quite nice, but I had hoped it would linger a bit longer than it did. Strongly recommend.

Say what you will...but this 20 year old from Costco is a really nice single malt! It may not come in a fancy box that people can resell on eBay, but it’s a really satisfying scotch at a great price.

Unfortunately, Edition 2 ruined me. It was so smooth and richly flavored that this most recent edition can’t even come close. While E2 featured a complexity and depth which lead me to purchase four bottles, I’m afraid that E4 struggles to hold my attention or my pallet. It seems to suffer from a bit of an identity crisis despite the many many varieties of oak in which it slept. I won’t be revisiting this Edition...

A decent dram. Not nearly as complex as one would hope or expect for a 14 year old Scotch. Great starter dram for those who want to dabble in the world of single malts without spending a lot. Saluté!
