Fine, sweet, soft, subtle fruity and vanilla flavors but light and unremarkable

Solid port-finished whiskey. Nothing memorable though, would opt for a more complex scotch at this price point.

If you’re predominantly a bourbon or scotch drinker and are expecting this to be a bridge to the other, you may be disappointed. This is a fascinating blend, and as someone who has a rye, bourbon, and scotch open at all times I love this bottle. It’s got decent smoke on the nose with a bit of peat, but the spice and sweetness really hit on first taste. The finish is smokey and dry. A fun blend worth a try!
