It's just so perfect. The nose is sweet, with minimal alcohol. Caramel abounds. Cotton candy. Caramel corns. The taste has a very oily mouthfeel. No immediate alcohol, but when the heat does arrive, it's temporary. I'm buying a bottle asap!

The smoothest 116 proof bourbon I've ever had. Goes down like a 90 proof. Great bargain bourbon that I think is highly underrated.

Nose was not very interesting. Minimal notes of the usual characters. Zero burn on the palate. Cinnamon, spices, vanilla, oak abound. Medium finish length.

Lots of oak on the nose with strong spices, but minimal heat. Palate is much of the same with very strong spices. Almost no burn across the entire tongue. THe finish is very long lasting.

Lots of sweet vanilla on the my nose. It’s accompanied by the usual suspects, caramel and oak. Maybe hints of the charring coming across as candy. Toffee maybe. Upon tasting, there is definitely oak from the extra stave aging I assume. No flavor stands out as it’s fairly mellow overall. Some caramel & cinnamon surface as well. The finish is interesting as it morphs through phases. Fairly long with even warmth.

Yes! All spice, red cherries, and cloves. Nice finish and easy on the alcohol burn. Long finish of spice & clove.

Young, somewhat overpirced. Very long finish with spicy dominating most of the palate.
