Dried fruits on the nose, hints of tobacco on the smooth but slightly dry finish, this is a full bodied and sumptuous cognac that is a fixture on my shelf. Bottle’s not bad, either.

Huge initial mint & citrus explosion of freshness in the mouth, but smooth and aromatic on the follow through. Surprisingly nice despite what I felt was a rather naff bottle. Ymmv

Perhaps spoilt by the XO from CdM, this disappointed me slightly in comparison to that excellent cognac. Fuller bodied flavours but also less smooth than the XO, I’m sticking with that from now on

Slightly sweet, juniper and apple (the recommended garnish). Smooth to start with, slightly tails finish and aftertaste. Decent value at £24 per bottle or so. Readily available.
