Opened Dec 31, 2018 2 hours since last meal Knob Creek 120 as control Color: Dark copper Nose: Ballpark peanuts, peanut butter, leather, butter popcorn Taste: Cream soda , spice at onset, quickly turns to velvet. Rice crispies with lots of sugar. Nutty and spice all around mouth. Finish: Longer as expected with 114.3 proof. Feels like I just had a spoon of peanut butter. Value: Worth up to $55 if you never had it and want to try it. I would be more inclined at $45 or lower.45.0 USD per Bottle

10/17/18: no food or other tasting influences. Used Glencairn glass. Color: Light & Golden Viscosity: Fast legs close together Nose: (opened up for I hour) - light, floral, easy on the oak, sweet, simple single note Palatte: Initial spice leads to easy and soft, not complex at all Finish: Short and to the point. Overall: A good bourbon for a beginner who does not have a lot of tolerance for spice or alcohol burn. Not a strong fan but we're not turn it down either. Prefer something more complex.35.0 USD per Bottle
