Smooth mild and soft on the pallet but a very good bourbon. And pricey, as the port has taken the shoulders off the bourbon to give this a smooth soft curve to your tastebuds, easy to drink but almost too smooth as the port has caused it to lose some of the edge to good bourbon.

Just a basic but nice bourbon.

A fine quality bourbon, with full complexity of rich caramel and nut flavor, warm and smooth yet the favor lasts after each swallow. I love the complexity peppery flavor, a touch of oak, and swirl of nut and rye flavor after it lingers on the palate.

My favorite Makers Mark product.

Amazingly smooth and reasonably priced Kentucky bourbon.

Hot and very nice finish could be too warm for some.

A very smooth wheat Kentucky whiskey like a finer bourbon but not a true bourbon.
