The taste isn't pronounced or overwhelming. It is under stated, sweet, and smooth. It's a scotch I can drink again and again, but I forget what it tastes like each time.

I don't like most peaty scotches, but this peaty irish whiskey is amazing. It's got a great complex flavour and I actually love the peat. Now I've got to try more peaty scotches!
