for the price I paid, this reminds me of the whistle pig at fraction of the price. It has a slight more spice finish, but followed by a really smooth rye flavor. The nose and the taste is really pleasant. I would get this at a budget whiskey.

Small faint sweetness with not a lot of other things going on. Tastes sweet at first and followed by let the fire rain down your throat..... the more you drink this the more harsh it became I don’t know why this bottle is that expensive.... at $47.49 there are a lot of other options that are way better

Person said it was like Henry McKenna and this smells of Carmel and corn. It's a solid bourbon spicy with oaky finish

Super peaty but surprisingly smooth must drink with a clean palate

It's very pleasant and sweet the moment you taste it. However the peaty started to build and the moment you start to swallow it the peaty and Smoky reach it's peak and then the spicy takes over

Maybe the one of the best whiskey that I wish I can afford on the regular basis. I lived it because no specific elements overtakes the other. This is one of the best perfect Harmony of flavors.

Surprisingly peaty..... Very different from the 30 year bottle.... Or the 12 year. The immediate sweetness comes through right away right after the smokiness. The floral scent was really pleasant. The pricing I felt is a little more expensive ar $99, that may be because this was harder to find in CA

Caramel and fruity hint of vanilla, an okay hint and followed by a strong floral finish. Fans of the Japanese whiskey would enjoy this very much. It doesn't have the peaty of spicy note at all. Right or of the bottle remind me of a different variations of the nikka Coffey grain whisky. Smooth and good everyday drink. I usually find peaty and spicy notes are better during winter or when I'm down and in need of reflection.... However, I can't seem to find a lot of information on this bottle. At $60-70 this is not cheap.... But surprisingly good. I would recommend

Hint of whiskey and then buttery nutty peanut butter and sugary taste. It's definitely wayyyyyy better than Jack Daniel honey but too much of a good thing can be off putting. Syrupy, great for couple of shots but might make you want to reach for water of you drink a whole glass.
