Excellent value bourbon. Rough around the edges, but hits every classic bourbon note I enjoy. The flavors are deep and the proof is high so settle in when you try this one. You aren’t driving home.

Same issue as it’s younger sibling, Rowans Creek. It becomes overwhelming in the profile and it starts to turn you off. However as a change of pace drink its very good and 2oz is plenty for a while.

I enjoy this bottle but after a while the strong notes that it hits on tend to become overpowering. This is a good change of pace bourbon. It definitely isn’t traditional.

Candy, sweet honey, fruit with a slight floral finish. I really love this bottle. Rye done correctly.

The bottle needs time to open up. Until it does there is a bitterness in the finish that lingers a bit. Standard vanilla, sweet and light oak flavors that are very pleasing. I don’t see the hype though. Not one to chase and overpay for.

This is a personal favorite of mine. I can find bottles right about SRP, so I always buy the shelf out. However, after winning some awards the risk of a “bad” barrel has gone up quite a bit. I’d say 7/10 bottles are solid at retail, 2 are total dogs and 1 is a gem. Unfortunate, but it seems excessive demand has taken a toll on standards for the label.

Excellent, but not pappy. Very drinkable, but impossible to get your hands on a bottle for a decent price anymore.

Just got my hands on my first bottle. Its bold, the 107 proof gives all the flavors a big punch. I really enjoy this the most of SR/107//12 lineup (all I have been able to taste). I get a heavy sweetness and cherry to it. Unlike the SR, no slightly bitter aftertaste.

A solid entry-level wheater. You can mix or sip neat. For the proof and age it’s slightly thin, a shorter finish and more sweet and soft than bold. Highly enjoyable, but not at secondary prices.
