Knob Creek 9 Year Single Barrel Reserve
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 14, 2021 (edited June 30, 2021)Excellent value bourbon. Rough around the edges, but hits every classic bourbon note I enjoy. The flavors are deep and the proof is high so settle in when you try this one. You aren’t driving home. -

Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 14, 2021 (edited March 31, 2021)This is a personal favorite of mine. I can find bottles right about SRP, so I always buy the shelf out. However, after winning some awards the risk of a “bad” barrel has gone up quite a bit. I’d say 7/10 bottles are solid at retail, 2 are total dogs and 1 is a gem. Unfortunate, but it seems excessive demand has taken a toll on standards for the label.
