I find the great use Oloroso to mature this liquid brings out your tylical smoke, pear, Oak and toffee flavours. This liquid is complex from the nose to the finish. Love smelling this dram all day long. I like one cube of ice to melt the burn a bit while searching for the flavours past the hest and smoke. Glad i did as i found a mixture of sweet strawberries amd spices. The .2 of any generation provides me with dessert ideas. In the palate i have Strawberry Cobbler before a smoky finish.

Aye! Another stupendous showing for the Octomore Series. 13.1 delivers yet again a smoky peary liquid with a rise of flavours as sip away. Again once you move through the smoke fulled door the smokey peaty flavours are no longer the point of interest. Creamy tastes of dark chocolate and orange will fill your palate. Down right delicious.

This liquid is not your regualar ‘worthers’ bourbon. It is powerful and deep at its 100 proof yet bery smooth. Spices jump right from the nose to the forst sip. It’s a delight showing orange zest flavours, baking spices, ending with a buttery short bread finish. I find so many bourbons are all to frequently nestled in a narrow bandwidth of flavour. This gem is a stand alone goodness.

This is a solid liquid buolt on a typlical smokeybstule that unfolds into massive flavours of vanilla, creamy caramel to a lovely coconut lotion taste. Goodness so fun to drink!

I happen to be a big fan or the Writers Tears variations and enjoy this one also. It provides many levels of layers. I get an orange (Grand Marnier) taste and feel. Sticky sweetness that slips to a creamy texture as cereal and baking soices close okt the experience. So mich warmth and goodness.

Like all Octomors the 10.1 is a beauty. Starting out with a smoky, peaty it lands a great punch. But once you add an ice cube the immediate smokeiness subsides and wonderful flavours erupt. Right away a beutiful salted licorice flavor tantalizes your tongue. A creaminess emerges leaving a lingering candied caremal apple flavour as the finish. This liquid is an experience all on its own. Much different than other Octomores. Well done 10.1!!!!

So much goodness in this liquid. So much sweetnes and cereal. I taste the delicious Boston cream donut flavours. F’ing awesome.

This was a surprise liquid that was far more smooth and delightful an expected. Banana bread, cereal, caramel with soft hint of oak.

It’s so unfortunate this liquid did not live up to the billing. I don’t know the previous releases but I found it difficult pulling anything from this one. I got mint on the palate and struggled after that. The finish was listless and boring. Truly a disappointment from the Micther’s people.
