I would find this whisky hard to beat based on price and flavour. A delicate but rich smoky aroma gives a sense of warmth and comfort reminds me of the warm finish of a coal fire. The taste is complex with the right mix of sweetness, toffee, honey and fruit along with the beautiful smoke running underneath. The finish is long and warm without any uncomfortable burn, very easy to drink.

Beautiful warning inviting smoke, like a roaring fire on a winter's evening. Caramel and bonfire toffee on the nose with an earthy richness. Very easy on the tongue, enough complexity to interest you bit nothing overpowering our unpleasant. Slight spice, raisin and brown sugar develop into a medium yet satisfying finish. A definite go to whisky when you don't want to be disappointed.

Reviewed November 27, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Very delicate, floral on the nose with green apples and pears. Light color. Soft on the palette, smooth but lacking in any depth or character. Ultimately pleasant but nothing to get excited about. Easy drinking but nothing to write home about. -

Reviewed November 27, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Delicious. Lovely nose, reminiscent of a hearty speyside. Vanilla and toffee hit the nose with a delicate fruity undertone. Obb the palette big flavors develop, malt, cereals and dried fruit come together to give a long satisfying finish that's big, bold yet smooth
