Wow! This is a $25 bottle of Bruichladdich! Just simply fantastic. Very complex nose firing off notes of sherry, pepper, malt and citrus. A very sweet nose, the more you sniff the nore you’ll unlock. On the palette is where its a tad bit underwhelming compared to the nose. The same notes persist but with a premature departure as the taste almost evaporated (like a $20 whiskey should) but nonetheless its a fantastic pickup and will remain a staple on my shelf.28.0 USD per Bottle

Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed May 29, 2019 (edited August 20, 2019)I've gone through two bottles of this and it's simply amazing. I have to drive to another state just to find this whiskey and it's well worth the drive. Nose - 5/5 Right up front you're bombarded with cereal notes (Apple jax) along with a deep and ritch campfire like smoke (No peat), malted barley, peppermint, clove, bubblegum and finished with the most unbelievably satisfying alcohol burn I've ever endured. (Due to the 50% abv) Palate - 5/5 surprisingly cereal and smoke notes carry over and I also get berries, pears, moss, molasses and mild tobacco and once again that 50% abv complements perfectly. Price - 4/5 Ok, so this is where things become disappointing. at $60 I think it's overpriced for something so young and without an age statement on top of it being hard to find, or non-existent in Philadelphia it can become pricey to enjoy this dram. Conclusion - buy it, drink it, stock it.60.0 USD per Bottle -
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed May 21, 2019 (edited August 13, 2019)This whiskey is not for the faint of heart but please do not just mix this with coke. This is a very interesting whiskey but not surprising or complex for my palate. It's very straight forward and honestly (To Me) it's a Kentucky straight bourbon in disguise lol. Nose 4/5 - Much like Old No°7 you get banana right off the bat but this is more rix and emersive after that you get brown sugar, Vanilla, toffee, grain, slight blackberry? finished with pepper and molasses, but hey this is all if you can get passed the alcohol burn. Palate 4/5 - This palate is easy to describe. Take the old No.7 recipe and age it longer then pull it straight from the barrel to the bottle. Smoke, Wood, dried fruits, spice and caramel. Price 3.5/5 - $66 is not very welcoming for something that couldn't have been aged for more that 8-10 years, cask strength or not. Still this is something worth experiencing.65.0 USD per BottlePhiladelphia -
Highland Park 12 Year Viking Honour
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed May 8, 2019 (edited October 28, 2019)A classic Scotland whiskey that should be consumed by all whiskey lover's. Highland park does "peat" just right. Its the perfect balance of tannin's and smoke but not overwhelming for a beginner. Nose - 4.5/5 A short but sweet Rollercoaster of butter scotch instantly followed by fresh ground coffee, slight brown sugar and very little mint. The smoke is robust but not medicinal. Peat done right! Palate 4.25/5 - Peat right up front followed by red apples, honey roasted nuts, smoke ash, chocolate, slight sourdough and finishes with a lingering taste of malted barley and a strong but fine cigar. Price 3.5/5 - Paid $60 after tax in PA. Surprisingly this is at 43% Abv here! Great choice but I'd say it should be priced at about $40-$47. Nonetheless a definite must try for all whiskey drinkers. Cheers!55.0 USD per Bottle -

Green Spot Single Pot Still
Single Pot Still — Ireland
Reviewed April 23, 2019 (edited April 30, 2019)This is a great whisky first of all but not worth the $65+ I paid for it. if you can score it for $50 or less than please do so, this is one of the rare complex Irish whiskeys out there worth experiencing for yourself. Nose 4/5 - butter cookie, un-riped banana, clove, saltfish, sugar cookie and citrus. Palate 3.5/5 - Green apple, pears, coconut, barley, peppermint. Price 2/5 - not worth the price tag in PA65.0 USD per BottlePhiladelphia -
Great sub $50 whiskey. You can tell this is a very young whiskey but that doesn't mean it's not filled with robust and distinctive notes. On the nose you get a very light and floral butter and banana toffee. On the other hand the palate is very short and hints with a slight pepper and white sugar finish.40.0 USD per BottlePhiladelphia

Very fruity on the nose almost like a speyside single malt but that's quickly masked by a Smokey, dark chocolate then finishes with a sweet Sherry cask + red wine. Not a super complex one but very interesting. The taste is spot on with the nose as well except for a slight peppery finish. On sale for $40 %100 would buy again.45.0 USD per BottlePhiladelphia
