Tastes

Nose: very weak, hard to perceive. Not very inviting, not displeasing either. Some vanilla, maybe chocolate. Taste: drinkable, soft, simple, sweet, perhaps a hint of faint smoke. Light watery on the mouth, not much texture and not spicy. Finish: ultra short, not memorable, leaves almost no aftertaste. Value: found it on sale for about $8 USD. Unremarkable dram but good value for the money. Probably will not buy again.

Cragganmore at the core. A good balanced blend, sweet with a little bit of smoke. Good to slowly sip and down a bottle without rushing it or expecting some remarkable whisky. Dependable.

Great Speyside, tasty, malty.

Beautiful nose, very floral, pleasant honey aroma, feels like a very classy Speyside smell. Not fruity at all though, no traces of apples, pears, etc. Very easy and satisfying drinking, yet very simple too.

Nose: banana, vanilla, a bit of cinnamon. Taste: sweet, more vanilla, soft maltiness. Easy drinking whisky, strong vanilla character, banana. Not bad but not my kind of scotch. I'd rather have a basic Speyside like Glennfidich 12 or GL 12.
