Tasty, but doesn't quite punch at its weight IMO. If this were an $80 bottle, it'd be a knockout but at $150+ retail, it leaves a little to be desired. I've had several 4R Single Barrel selections that were as good or better.

I've had a couple pours of this and it is wonderful. A really great bourbon. Judging Kings vs their peers, it does have a wave of heat on the finish that washes out some of the beautiful subtleties that start blossoming on the finish. Again, this is judging Kings vs their peers and this is still a world class bourbon.

Some kind of wonderful! I finally had my last pour out of this bottle last night and it was bittersweet. So great to enjoy but so sad it was the last pour. The nose is really good, the palate is great, and the finish dances around as long as you could hope for. Though the proof doesn't satisfy the chest thumpers, I think the absence of the typical GTS heat allows so many more subtle flavors of 15 years of age to come through. I've had alot of great bourbons, but this one fits my tastes perfectly and I don't think I'll ever forget it.

I haven't tasted them all, but this is the best batch of Larceny BP I've had. Nose is underwhelming, but the palate and mid length finish more than make up for it. A steal at $50.

Very good. Fruit, caramel, and a little nuttiness. Finish fades pretty quickly for cask strength, but a very nice sip

Carmel apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Flavor disappears somewhat in the finish but it has a nice long hug.

This is really special. Sweet upfront with spice on the back end. It is a must buy at retail price.

Really solid rye that is priced well and always available in my area. This is definitely on the softer side of rye's and may even appeal to some bourbon drinkers who don't care for the 95% rye as it is likely closer to the 51% limit.

This is s decent bourbon, but has a bit of astringency and isn't very balanced for the price. I'm not sure which batch I had and it may be a matter of preference, but there's quite a few others I prefer over this in the price range.

This is a really magnificent bourbon. Long lingering finish. It definitely has the Four Roses flavor profile so if that isn't your bag, you may not like it. If it is your bag, you'll love this.
