I didn’t know how to feel about this initially. First it was decent whisky but then it had a barrel flavor on swallowing/exhaling. I like it but it’s not my favorite. You won’t get that quality, ”Oh yeah” from it but it’s nothing to scoff at. It’s cheaper and fulfills it’s purpose. It’s the bourbon you get when you want something tasteful but the bills are due in two days and I can’t drop the cash for a name brand that I can brag about. If you asked me about it at the bar I’d say, “Good stuff!”.

Not what you want for sipping whiskey/bourbon/scotch but it’s a very fun whiskey. I’d definitely recommend having it on hand as an interesting taste for parties and such. Great tingling on your tongue but unoffensive to anyone who isn’t in to whiskey. It’s really good situationally. I’d start with,”If you like fireball I’ve got something better.”.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Straight Malt
American Single Malt — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 4, 2021New to tasting bourbons but I’ve enjoyed this one. It’s not too sweet and the burn isn’t too crazy. Drinking it neat.
