Tastes

Nose is sweet and spicy with an undertone of brine. Palette is very smooth with a tease of almond spice and citrus. With 3 drops of water the nose becomes much spicier with lemon hints. Palette profile remains the same but opens up to be more vibrant

Strong nose of vanilla and coconut. Palette reflect the nose with a warm finish. With 3 drops of water the vanilla nose receives some oak undertones. Palette is the same, but with an even hotter finish. I personally prefer this whisky without the water added.

Nose presents as smoky and briny in a subtle way. Palette is smooth with hints of spice butterscotch and peat. With 2 drops of water nose inverts the order to become more briny than smoky. Palette is everything it was plus hints of fruit and a slightly hotter finish.

Nose is lightly peated with hints of dried fruit and toasted marshmallow. Palette of vanilla and biscuit. With 2 drops water marshmallow aroma becomes more pronounced, fruit smells more fresh and red and the peat disappears. Vanilla on the palette with a hint of peat appearing on the finish. This is a campfire s'more in a glass.

Sherry and dried fruit on the nose. Candied red fruit on the palette. With 2 drops of water nose the sherry flor smell becomes far more pronounced. Palette tastes more of dried fruit.

Rich, thick aroma of spice, vanilla and butterscotch. Sweet palette of winter spice and oak. With 2 drops of water palette softens to orange and floral. Palette remains the same with the sweet first impression more balanced out.

Salty breeze on the nose and oily smokiness on the palette. 2 drops of water opens up the nose with lemon and pepper, and the palette with honey and vanilla. Balanced and pleasant, without being a standout in any category.
