Nose: berries and cream dominate, oak and some tobacco, baking spices, creme brûlée, caramel, strawberry and raspberry Palate: vanilla caramel bomb, creamy almost icecream like, spice and oak on the back end, mid tongue sizzle, amazing flavor for 94 proof Finish: oak, warmth works towards the cheeks and lips, warm tobacco

Nose: vanilla, deep caramel, sweet oak, dark chocolate covered cherries, graham cracker, crisp green apple Palate: marshmallow, cinnamon and spice, dark chocolate, caramel candies with vanilla centers, more cherry and red fruit, ends with a woody note Everytime I come back into this I get more flavors and smells. I get a vibe of ECBP mixed with regular ER. The extra proof points help this out quite a bit...would love to see what a regular ER at 100+ would be like. That old oak vanilla and dark chocolate note just overwhelms with a hug and tells you this is a 17year old product. Worth the hype.

Barrel 15-4905 distiller David Miller selection. 113.1 proof Nose: Apple, tobacco, caramel, sweet oak Taste: Does not drink like 113 proof. Sweet smooth vanilla caramel upfront that turns into dry spice, oak. Got a big rush of mint/spearmint when I first tried this. Finish lingers with dark sugar and vanilla. Dry spice lingers on the middle of the tongue.

Nose: Heat, caramel, vanilla, whisps of lemon on a quick sniff, crackerjacks, brown sugar Taste: oak and spice upfront turns into caramel peanut crackerjack, vanilla, peanut flavor seems to linger - maybe because I don’t often get this Lasting warming finish Somehow after a few mins I have taste of fresh cut grass on the palate

Nothing like any other Rye I have ever had. So sweet and huge rum influence. Definitely a dessert whiskey. Goes great with a cigar as well.

Preferred this with a few drops of water. Marshmallow starts you off, followed by caramel/molasses, and then rye spice. Strong tingle on the tongue, and oak and leather come back onto the palate along with vanilla. Long finish. Excellent pour.

So happy I was able to find a bottle, an entry level pleaser, sweet and well balanced
