Got a pour in Brentwood, Tennessee. Drinks very easy at 100 proof (feels more like 80). Excessive sweetness in the palate with a little prickle in the back of the throat on the finish. Although I’m going out of order, I guess I should mention that the nose is sweet honey and wood with a SLIGHT cherry. Would have again. 👍🏻

What a treat.

My first Fitz; what an introduction! Sweet, sweet caramel-y nose. Palate is slightly viscous and deliciously sweet with hints of citrus fruit and brown sugar. Decent finish all things considered. Lingers slightly but not excessively long. Got a pour for $15: a definite bargain.

It took me a while to fully appreciate this, but I think I finally do after 2 years. Nose: SMOKE; gives way to honey bread/graham and sea water as it opens Palate: creamy with mild sweetness; hardly any spice at all (crushable) Finish: short in my opinion, but malty and pleasant Get some.

Rich nose with caramel and unsweet cocoa. Surprising palate with a bit of smoke, oak tannin, and juicy fruits. Associated with a tour at their experimental facility downtown Chattanooga, so this bottle gets nostalgia bias (the most powerful form of bias there is).
