Super pretty and light perfume spell on the nose, hints of suger and sweetness with an almost floral smell. More dense and full flavor profile compared to something like a Basil Hayden’s. Very even and smooth taste with an ever so slight bite at the end, not too sharp and not too “thin” at the beginning. Love this bourbon, for first glass.95.0 USD per Bottle

Reviewed May 20, 2021 (edited September 8, 2021)Tasting with a large ice ball with Chris, super delicious rich notes with cinnamon bite towards the end of the taste. Brown sugar and sweet notes throughout with a thin body to it. Not overly complex but a really smooth sipperCharleston -
Very medicinal and piercing on the nose. First sip tasted like the nose? Very medicinal notes with a woody/roasted peanut finish. Once ice has started to melt a bit the nose smells a bit more floral and less aggressive. Lacks a lot of sweetness and richness that a lot of bourbons have, it’s got a lingering acidic medical taste that really is not my favorite. The more it melts the more the nose reminds me of Knobb creek/ that family of bourbons. I like knobb creek way better and that bourbon isn’t my fav. Disappointing $40 buy. Towards the very last sip it finally becomes bearable and just tastes like a less good knobb or basil Hayden’s.39.0 USD per BottleHavertown

Vanilla and cherry on the nose, very dense sweet sugar taste on the first sip. Much more sugary and maple syrup flavors than some of the more nutty/barrel note bourbons I’ve had. Very nice, never disappointed when I come back to this one. Sweet notes are tapered off with a slight spice at the end from the oak char.

Beautiful sweet black cherry and berry notes on the nose, smells delicious and welcoming, a lot let boring smelling as a lot of bourbons I try. First sip is a explosion of flavors with hints of the black cherry I smelled on the nose at the beginning of the sip with almost some dark chocolate notes at the end. This strikes me as something I would want to sip on by a fire during the winter at Christmas time. Light light barrel notes at the very end of the sip, but way less oaky and nutty than some bourbons. Almost no ethanol taste. This is a lovely bourbon and very much so my type of bourbon. Don’t know if I have tried one that I like more than this.Havertown
