Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey (Discontinued)
American Single Malt — Colorado, USA
Reviewed January 7, 2015Honestly I feel Stranahans has become a bit overrated and over-priced. But if you ignore the hype and the price it's still a good whiskey. It has more heat than I lot of what I drink but a good spice complexity. It's best to drink this with a touch of water - they even recommend that on the tour. Not sure what batches I've had. -
Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 7, 2015 (edited January 6, 2016)Just opened this today and on first taste I'm not terribly impressed. It's fairly smooth with just a touch of heat but the flavor is fairly bland. Normal price is $45 but I paid $35 (Colorado). So far I would never recommend this at full price. I'll edit after it opens up a bit. -
Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 7, 2015 (edited June 15, 2017)This is a bit spicier than the rest of the bourbons in my collection - and I like it! Great sipping bourbon with a complex spice. Excellent for the price (around $32 in Colorado)
