Tastes

There is no body to this whiskey. It is like water. The peat is PERFECT,but the lack of texture and the 80 proof makes this one a waste of money for a single malt to me. I t really tastes like a BETTER blended scotch.

This one is over the top.TOO tangy and harsh.

$18 for 1.75 ! This is actually quite good. It tastes like famous grouse without the 'sweet' I tasted this against Johnny Walker Red, and I think it is a toss up. BUT 18 bucks!? How can you go wrong.

I happened to read a review of this bourbon just before heading to lunch at a new bar. It was on the shelf, so I tried it and I AM HOOKED! This is about as perfect a dram of Bourbon as you will find. 86 proof, not too sweet,not too spicy. IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIP.

FOR THE PRICE! You won't find a better Bourbon. 90 proof. SMOOTH, SWEET. EXCELLENT VALUE. I ALWAYS keep 1.75 on hand.

surprised me with flavor and smoothness. It is sweet and spicy . Usually I don't care for RYE because it is overpowering, but this is very nice.

This is a very WEAK blend as far as I taste. There is nothing BAD about it, BUT, there is nothing GOOD about it either. I have never tasted anything so EXACTLY middle of the spectrum as this one. I will us it to blend with something else and hope for the best. EXPENSIVE for such a mediocre blend.

I just don't get the hype for this one? I couldn't wait to try it, bought a bottle, EH! I don't get anything that stands out here. EZRA BROOOKS has more flavor and is 1/3 the cost.
