Nose Deliciously fruity and sweet, lemon, the nexessary sweetness, ashy smoke, creamy, sugared and dried light fruit, vanilla, also a pinch of coffee, briefly also banana, light spice that joins the smoke , white gummy bears, also a brief hint of chocolate Taste Smooth and sweet as Ardbeg should be, delicious smoke, burnt waffle, sweet fruit, burnt cake batter, vanilla, gummy bears again, with jelly filling, pineapple, peach I am a big fan of Ardbeg so i feel its amazing for its price Finish Ash, mint, fresh, sweet with a light tingling foavour at the end, pleasant, fills the entire mouth, the pineapple n thr finish is a nice surprise.

This is what got me into scotch .apples , apples and apples . This is a smooth entry level dram that gets your going. It’s smooth with Apple written all over it, very little nose even in a Norlan glass and finish is short but still delightful. I always have this dram in my bar

Nose: You first smell the smoke and ash but it makes way for bergamot, orange zest, lemon slices and some hay very little though . It then become floral which is very interesting Palate: it’s deliciously Well rounded, up its honey, Vanilla, smoke. It does have the touch of Peat with oily sweetness. A few drops of water really open it up. Finish: it’s Smoky and long very satisfying and engulfs you in the Sea spray, dry grass, a touch of ash and citrus. Colour: golden or light amber. Overall: Its very classy and Smoky, fruity, coastal all at the same time. Well worth trying if want to stay on the low end of peat.

This is one of those unsung hero’s out there. NOSE You will smell the Oak as expected with chocolate and peanuts, leather and char. PALATE On the palate you taste the Oak again with dark fruit, caramel, peanuts and baking spice. Add a few drops of water and you will taste the honey as it opens up. FINISH This has a Medium to Long finish with the Roasted corn and again the oak. The baking spice eventually does fade out but it’s a satisfying finish overall.

Dark caramel and figs on the nose with baking spices and orange zest on the tongue. It’s a delicious sherry cash treat that I save for special days.

I smell vanilla, caramel and toffee on the nose and I taste chocolate orange on the tongue. The finish is medium that does leave a satisfactory feeling. It’s overall a nice bourbon for $50-60 range and I unsure if that justifies the hype and the huge demand. The bottle looks very pretty but I would rather have the Blantons gold than the original.
