Nougat brown butter thay passes quickly to more classic rye spice and slight bitterness. The body is mild to medium intensity and viscosity. Overall nice but nothing remarkable.

What I would consider a fantastic, affordable bourbon that does most everything right. Waves of welcoming butter and brown sugar assault the palate, bordering on too sweet. Slight underlying clove?

Rich Amber color. A ton of cereal, almost overwhelmingly so, on the nose with floral notes. Extraordinarily smooth with a really pleasant malt/cereal forward opening. Silky consistency with caramel and a subtle lingering honey sweetness. Really enjoyed this one blind, not bad price point. Then relatively rounded peat and smoke. Slight aftertaste ethanol burn, minimal with the honey coming a bit cloyingly. A little more complexity would have gone a long way here, and it shows its youth. Batch #5, 2020 i believe

Strong nougot and caramel hit me up front and preserve pleasantly for some time with a somewhat unfortunately bitter, oily aftertaste. Some cinnamon sprinkled throughout. Overall a rather pleasant drink.

Rather average rye with a decent opening burn and spice with clove and cinnamon. Lingering leather finish that somewhat outstays its welcome. Overall not bad, not great.

So very smooth with lovely notes of caramel and cherry, as expected with BT mashbill. Not terrifically complex but enjoyable. As close to a staple in a bourbon collection as one can imagine as MSRP.

Spice and alcohol on the nose up front gives way to a burst of honey, brown sugar and caramel with continued rye spice. Body is like a punch without much afters aside from a slight alcohol burn. Burn is a slight surprise for me, surprising at this proof and a bit much

The provided expert ratings ring true with toasted honey and barley notes with heady peat thereafter. While nothing entirely outrageous, a lovely drink to have on hand, particularly given the quality in regards to the price.

Slight burn initially gives way to corn and light caramel. Best with a touch of water to mellow slightly. Overall enjoyed.

Relatively simple, generic with classic bourbon notes and not much else. Best used for mixing.
