Good rye for bourbon drinkers to transition, but not my favorite. I felt it didn't have the punch of spice that I want in rye. Look at it like a higher rye type of "bourbon" or American whiskey and its good but as a rye it isn't my favorite.

Finally, a wheated bourbon that is sweet and mellow but actually tastes like bourbon. Other wheated bourbons like makers mark and larceny taste flat to me but this has all the character of bourbon without the spicy rye bite.

This is fantastic. It tasted like a rich chocolate brownie with chai spices like pepper and cardamom with vanilla at the end. Stands out in my collection as something distinct, not just another "really good bourbon"

They try to make this bourbon well rounded and hit a little bit of everything on the flavor wheel. It is a solid bourbon and will probably appeal to fans of bourbons throughout the spectrum from wheated to American ryes. That being said once you know what you like there will likely be other options more tailored to a specific flavor profile. Great option especially if you focus on other liquors and want one solid bourbon.

This isn't my favorite bourbon. The flavor doesn't do much for me compared to other bourbons in the price range. It isn't bad, just uninteresting.

This is my standard go to bourbon it isn't too expensive, especially if you can get the 1.75L, and has a nice sweet and smooth flavor. When people ask for a "good bourbon" to start this is what I point them to. Cheap tasty and accessible.
