Tequila Añejo — Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed October 2, 2021 (edited August 29, 2022)This Añejo smells like Mexico! It has a wonderful nose with caramel and toasted oak. The taste is complex with chocolate, toasted nuts, sweet caramel, and leaves a tingling sensation on the edges of your tongue. Easily a classic for a premium sipping tequila -
Maestro Dobel Añejo Tequila
Tequila Añejo — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed October 2, 2021The nose isn't very complex for an añejo. The overall taste is pleasant but not complex either. You can taste nuttiness and vanilla right away. This sits for an incredibly long time on the palate -
Maestro Dobel Diamante Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed October 2, 2021The nose is incredible for this Reposado Tequila. It gives this impression that it's going to have a ton of heat to it but it doesn't. It's very light on the palate. Distinct sweet flavors of maple, honey, and nuttiness. There's also subtle vanilla and caramel that sits on the tongue. A great tequila all and all -
Maestro Dobel Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed October 2, 2021Despite being aged in American Oaks casks, this Repo is much lighter than I expected. Definitely a sweet, nutty, and vanilla taste that lingers long afterwards
