Cinnamon, maple and a hint of bacon on the nose; chloraseptic sting up front and long, steady burn with a hint of burned caramel on the back end -- great if you like high heat. Double-oaked is significantly more interesting for not much of a premium. This is my mixing bourbon for when a drink needs the heat component.

Fruity and pleasantly unusual; a great change of pace for hot days.

Underappreciated due to the Wild Turkey label. If you don't like it neat, try it over ice for a completely different experience. High quality to price ratio with this.

My go-to for mixing, and one I always have on hand. This is my favorite "base bourbon", and it is a good value.

Nose is mildly astringent with a hint of banana; smooth, lightly sweet and oily with a slightly spicy finish.

Best slightly chilled and diluted. Over an ice cube: rich cinnamon and vanilla, but without much sweetness with just a hint of pear.

Rich caramel nose; buttery and creamy vanilla notes transform into spicy warmth with a hint of cinnimon. A favorite.

Vanilla spice nose; heat forward, but otherwise balanced. A decent "default" bourbon, and good for general mixed drinks.

Fruity and toasty nose; mild, salty and sweet but an overall balanced bourbon. Much more mild than expected, but a nice change of bourbon pace. Pricey for what it brings to the table.
