Nose: green apple, fruity, pepper Pallet: carmel apple, cinnamon spice, long finish Funky rye. Rye spice comes through on the finish but the smell of green apple transfers from the nose to front pallet. Finish hangs around for a while for a 100 proofer. Its unique and a great pour but not sure if its worth paying secondary for. Sagamore and JD BP Rye are much better value.

Nose: roasted nuts, carmel, toffee, maple coffee cake Pallet: baking spice, fall baking desert, toasted feel, burnt caramel, cinnamon on finish One of the best noses of all Makers products. Burnt or toasted caramel. Great Fall taste. Dark baking spice and cinnamon finish on tongue.

Nose: dark fruit, cherry/strawberry, vanilla Pallet: dark fruit carries over, smooth and creamy, strawberry werthers Outstanding pour! Nose to pallet transition is smooth and fruit carries over. Tastes like strawberry and vanilla candy. Would prefer over Weller 12 and Full Proof. Would be a 5 but theres other 5s under the Sazerac umbrella.

Nose: dark cheery or raspberry, pleasant with no burn Pallet: fruity, oak spice, cheery, chewy Proof is great. Gives you a kick but its not overbearing. A lot of fruit and cherry on the pallet. Finish is very long and lingers quite a bit.

Nose: grainy, cracker jax, lemon bar Pallet: sweet oak, oily, very light with quick punch, carmel corn candy Light for 106 proof, very easy to drink, flavors dont stick out too much - you really have to search for them. Good wheater and comparable to lower proof Wellers. Good value at $45-$50.

2023, Batch 3 Nose: lemon, floral, doughy Pallet: fruit to start, nutty oak, honey Very light and pleasant sipper. Not a lot of burn. Decent finish. Prefer other $50-$55 bottles over this.

Nose: chococale carmel brownie, root beer, smores Pallet: char/toasted oak, burnt toast, leather

Nose: green apple, clove, pear Pallet: clove (maybe minty), sour apple, apple saltwater taffy While I do get the clove and mint like some reviews have listed, my bottle has a green apple and pear taste to it. Reminds me of green apple salt water taffy or laffy taffy.

Nose: peanut butter, oakey Pallet: nuttey, vanilla, caramel Really good for the cost of this whiskey - value is great. It’s more complex than some other entry level whiskeys - good transitions between nose to pallet. Comparable to Evan Williams 1873 and some entry Knob Creek products.

Nose: Cherry Cola, Dr Pepper, Grape Pallet: Cinnamon, baking spice, dark cola Really dark tasting. Hot finish. Not as fruity as other Staggs.
