Glengoyne Legacy Series: Chapter Two 2020
Single Malt — Highlands , Scotland
Reviewed March 24, 2021 (edited May 18, 2021)Nose: Pretty subtle. Light fruits, cinnamon, citrus. Palate: Very surprising. Hitting your tongue with spices (the 48%) , then salt then smooth syrup, raisins. The finish is long. Wow. Very good. -
Longmorn 16 Year (Discontinued)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 10, 2021 (edited June 11, 2021)It's good! Very subtle and very easy to drink. Nose: Kinda like sitting next to the ocean with flowers in your hand and a candy in your mouth. Taste: Dried fruits, vanilla, floral. Tiny bit salty and spice. Syrup. No peat at all. Unsure if it's worth the price but it's definitely really good. I'm gonna buy it again. -
It's a very good whiskey (even more for the price) but there is something I don't like in this bottle. The more I taste different Whiskeys, the more I realize I personally like a bit less the cherry Casks. This one got a "heavy" flavor. Burnt caramel(?) but no peat or smoke. The taste is maybe a bit similar to the Glenfiddich 15 but better.
