Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Barrel Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee , USA
Reviewed May 28, 2026The nose gives a ton of a cocoa, marshmallows, maple, toffee, and dessert flavors. The palate hits all those notes with a woody and toasty finish, so much smores, cocoa, and toffee with a tad bit of carmel and vanilla. The finish has a bit of a woody charred flavor that lingers with the sweetness. This is dessert in a glass and is phenomenal -
On the nose, i get a salt seawater smell with some herbs as well, with so much peat and some earthiness as well, i get some bread notes as well. On the palate, that peat and smoke hits so good, with the salt seawater smell and earthiness being apparent. The texture is oily and there's a bit of tobacco flavor too, which shows in the finish. There is a hint of honey in the palate and oak there too, but that briny smoke and peat is the hightlight. The finish is so smooth and packed with flavor, the briny saltiness, the seawater vibes, the peat! Some sweeter dessert notes. This is the scotch that got me into scotch and its a must have

Journeyman Distillery Featherbone Organic Bourbon
Bourbon — Michigan, USA
Reviewed February 25, 2026So this one has a vanilla, oak, and carmel nose, with hints of apple and toffee as well, they show up on the palate for a nice smooth offering with an okay finish. A super easy sipper and beginner just not complex in the slightest and pretty sweet -
This one is a weird one, super fruity and tropical on the nose, with those being present on the palate. A light and smooth pour but the finish is lacking and its almost too sweet for me. Very little spice or robustness. Floral flavor and nose as well. Its a pleasant drink, just maybe not my cup of tea

Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed January 17, 2026 (edited March 6, 2026)Has a floral and herbal nose, with honey and some fruit. All appears on the palate, its smooth, simple, barley taste. Its good, there are better Irish whiskeys out there. I'd get it again but i doubt a full bottle -
On the nose, baking spice, cereal, vanilla, and carmel, the palate has these but with some honey as well. Banana bread is also there, the finish is smooth but not very complex, it doesn't have as much of the rye spice as i would like. Its a good sipper thats straightforward at best and uninteresting at worst
