Tastes

It was a little flat. Tasted soapy. It wasn’t bad though. It’s important to note that these are single barrel bottles. My next try would likely be different.

This whiskey is excellent. The rating in Distillers is way off here. It has a wonderful nose, exciting sweet first taste, a little fire at the end and an excellent lingering sweet taste on the tongue. Let this air out and it gets smoother. Take time between sips and the lingering sweetness makes this a whiskey to enjoy well beyond the drink. Very good whiskey indeed.
