Breaking & Entering Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed March 12, 2014 (edited September 1, 2014)Nice fruity nose which continues on first sip. Incredibly easy sipper as it's dangerously smooth with no burn which could be good or bad but still a lot of life in this blend. Overall a top shelf bourbon for me will need to grab next time I see as I don't come across it often -
Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Bourbon (107 Proof)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 7, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Gorgeous color nose is incredible almost can smell it from across the room. Lacking something up front but nice kick and smooth combination. Will need to compare with old weller but owerall nice bourbon even with all the hype. Leaving me fiending for some pappy for sure -
Editors note: I have the 2010 release which I've held onto for 4 years before opening. In that time I stored it improperly for about a year and the bottle has been thru a house fire. But still...strong rye nose with a smooth and oily texture and a long finish perfect balance between wood and whiskey for an 18 year. Call me biased or sentimental but I'm giving this 5 stars just because it's still so damn good even after all the shit I put it thru, just like my Samantha.

Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot "B" 12 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 2, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Nice nose smooth and sweet and I haven't even sipped yet when you do somehow. You find it's. Even smoother this is a dagerously drinkable. Whiskey yet the lack of a burn or aftertaste makes this very enjoyable whiskey very forgettable if that makes sense? Overall top shelf worthy but due to the price and the hype I can't give this 5 stars
