    82/100 seems about right, but stuck with stars so... Not super but a little above avg. Nice smoothness even though 90proof, cookie like vanilla with some oak. Well balanced. Might be interested in trying longer aged offerings

    I get the spices and hint of banana, but any other "fruity" flavors are beyond my palate sensitivity. Very good, none the less. Bit pricey for blended/flavored rum that's only 70proof

    slightly better than average, don't know why it has over 85 rating, similar to (insert other mid-level brand) but with additional sherry cask aging. Sherry aging seems to be the new fad, like over-hopped IPA's for beer.

    Maybe green apple nose with a hint of orange peel. Light caramel and peat, pepper at first sip. Sweet then heat builds, bitterness just before long light peat finish. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Semi drying.

    Oaky, oaky, slow burn...maybe some cherry finish when eating salty snacks...otherwise very boring. Over-priced unless "barely average" bourbon sells for $50 now?

    There is something different about this than , say, regular Tullimore D.E.W.--which I also like. I think it must be the slight "bourbonish" notes? Anyway, it's worth drinking.

    Definitely scent of leather/butter, slightly sweet at first touch to tongue. Light oiliness, very smooth heat comes on in middle to finish. There is a faintly fruity finish but it's quickly covered by barrel spiciness. Not dry, agave notes when heat/spice dissipates leaves oil-coated lips. Long finish. Very smooth sipper.

    Sweet wheat then a bit of rye/pepper(?) in this, along with nice warmth from the 50.5%, followed by slight cherry mid with oaky dry finish. Pleasant and smooth for a 101, mid-level bourbon. One of the best I've had between $20-$35.
