Nose: Sherry, dry fruit, oak, vanilla bean. Citrus in the background. Intense and robust. Taste: Flavor delivers on the nose. Sherry and dark fruit at first, strong oak and spices develop. Hot from high ABV. However, smooth with no burn. Finish: Long finish with dark chocolate, spices and oak. Notes: Cask strength. Batch 56. Non-chill filtered. I really like this one. Not very complex but the sherry and oak are very prominent yet not overwhelming. I would buy again. With water at 40% the nose holds up, but the body does not. Maybe dilute to 45%.
