Tastes

At first very ripe fruits, slight vanilla, and light brown sugar. Sharp, oaky, and malty mid. Slight spicy with a mineral finish. Definitely a different bourbon but far from my favorite. A muted bourbon that doesnt taste much like a bourbon, reminds me of a malt whisky with light brown sugar and spice.

Love the juice in the bottle, absolutely hate the price to get the juice.

This is the second take of the Stiuireadair, not as floral or fruity as I remember. I got a lot of salty brine on the front end then finished with light taste of apples or peaches. Bit more burn then I remember also which isn’t bad if finish off nicely. Definitely a young scotch and the climate of Scotland is not the best for younger aged whisky’s. Still not a bad whisky though just subpar and I can think of better for the price.

Man this is my first experience with this distillery and I’m highly impressed. Nice sweet Carmel/brown sugar with a nice natural vanilla taste on the roof of the mouth. Finished with a nice sweet spice live cinnamon toast. All of the flavors work well together and a really nice oily coating in the mouth left over. Will definitely come back to this distillery for more.

Decent whiskey for the price. Nice brown sugar and Carmel taste upfront. The middle section is very nutty oak, finished with a strong cinnamon spice on the back end. Only dislike is I get a bit of dryness on the back of my tongue. This is a decent whiskey for the price but if it ever gets more expensive that $30 I wouldn’t buy it.

Nice light buttercream up front and is carried out with a slight biscuit taste. Then a really nice not overly strong spice at the end. Really nice whiskey to try.

Have not tried the 12 year yet. But will, if this is their cheaper version I can imagine what there 12 taste like. Nice simple taste not to complex with lots of dried fruits and only get a hint of vanilla or toffee nice clean finish that doesn’t sit on the tongue. Not the best whisky but certainly a decent daily.

Nice slight sour green apple note, maybe in my head. Then the bit of spice and that nice noticeable peaty taste lasts at the end. Really underrated scotch, you can do worse.

Lot of bite on the front end. Then mellows out with floral notes from the Sherry Cask and light wooden oak flavor sits on the tongue.
