Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Barrel Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee , USA
Reviewed March 16, 2026 (edited March 18, 2026)The color is absolutely gorgeous. On the nose straight toffee and banana bread. Super sweet, smokey and you get that dry, slight bitter oak note towards the end. On the palate, buttery and sweet. Toffee and caramel in droves in the mid palate leading to a sweet banana nut bread and then it has some backbone, a little bit of heat. That oak comes through at the end, long finish, sweetness still present. Buttery all the way through. I think i bought this for $55 and this is a great value at that price, and i am not even the biggest jack fan. Very tasty.55.0 USD per Bottle -
Green River Full Proof Wheated Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 6, 2026 (edited April 1, 2026)On the nose, sweet cereal, cinnamon and caramel. The palate is buttery and slightly sweet, caramel note to a little thin, proof heat and cinnamon. Its tasty but it is a little thin for a 109 full proof in my opinion. I usually orefer wheated to other mashbills, but i may prefer the regular full proof green river bourbon but it is still tasty. Reminds me of Old Fitz but a tad less complex. For $50, its a decent bottle. -
Willett Family Estate Small Batch Bourbon Cask Strength ~ Aged 4 Years
Bourbon — Bardstown, Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 27, 2026On the nose, baking spice like a old fitz wheater. Some sweetness, almost apple pie and caramel. On the palate, rich and luscious up front. Buttery mellow caramel breaking to that baking spice, and a dry, slightly bitter and tanic finish. Its tasty vut a little flat in the mid palate. Its a solid sipper and does not taste its proof until the very end, even then its not super hot58.0 USD per Bottle -
On the nose, classic wheated bourbon. A little dusty, sweet and appealing. On the oalate, oily, light and sweet. Caramel in feel and taste iff the bat, that breaks into a weird scotch-like burn and flavor mixed with a bourbon (not bad, but different) and ends with vanilla and cinnamon leading to some burn. Finish is not super long but it does not fade away to the ether either. Its tasty, a little spicy towards the end, drinking a little houer proof than it is but for the $35 i paid, its a great option. I was impressed, its tasty

Isaac Bowman Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels
Bourbon — Virginia, USA
Reviewed November 26, 2025On the nose, proof and sweetness. Even though it is 92 proof, smells a litte more. You get that port tannic, sweet an fruity nose with now. A little dusty wheat smell. On the tongue, buttery is the best way to describe it. The sweet, mellow flavor of port is present all the way through giving way to the classic bourbon richness and heat. Rich stone fruit and caramel in the middle palate with some vanilla and wood. Slight tobacco notes. Towards the end, baking soice is prevalent. Warm and toasty. Its very smooth whoch almost giges it the impression of one dimensional but over a fee sips, the complexity comes out a bit. I do believe a bit more proof would add to the complexity, in my opinion. The sweetness may be a bit much for some, but a great late night or after dinner sipper for sure. Great with a cigar. Enough proof to shine through. Good balance, i enjoyed it as somethinf different than my typical. -
Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 25, 2025 (edited July 28, 2025)Has a nose reminiscent of something higher proof, rich in cinnamon and spice. Definitely has the heaven hill/ elijah craig nose to it plus some charred wood(obvs)… the spice then the sweet candy smell. Hits the tongue immediately bitter, bit is rich and gives way to that spice and cinnamon, then breaks into the sweet caramel and dries up a bit. Its nice, the heat from the oak plays tricks like its hogher proof than it is. I enjoy it quite a bit, but wilouldnf say its a good beginner’s bourbon -

Oily and seeet on the tongue making way for some heat, spice and cinnamon making way to a carmel and buttery finish. Sweet and spicy then sweet. A bit of a long finish, but an easy one. Doesn’t feel its proof, but has some backbone. Very tasty.57.0 USD per Bottle -
Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Bourbon Whiskey
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 3, 2025 (edited March 3, 2026)On the nose, smells inviting. Warm, a little sweet, a little fruity but mostly baking spice and a hint of warm caramel. On the palate, its light upfront then upswells to a warm, fairly sweet vanilla and baking spice note that opens further to heat. Has the beam heat, but it also has a nice balance. Does not taste its proof until right up to the end. Its very nice. -
On the nose, sweet honey, vanilla and a little graham cracker couple with tea leaves. Oily and easy on the tongue initially, sweet and honey breaks way to a burst of sweet stone fruit. Its light, its full of intense flavors. Fairly complex, light, rich warm, easy, fruity and does not taste its proof. Very tasty.
