On the nose, sweet honey, vanilla and a little graham cracker couple with tea leaves. Oily and easy on the tongue initially, sweet and honey breaks way to a burst of sweet stone fruit. Its light, its full of intense flavors. Fairly complex, light, rich warm, easy, fruity and does not taste its proof. Very tasty.

On the nose a little stone fruit and chocolate, as eell as some sweetness and a little proof. Buttery caramel on the tongue, semi sweet chocolate and a little warmth. Has a stone fruit sweetness in the middle and Smooth all the way through. A little more Complex than the single barrel four roses, but the proof is there but not over the top. Very approchable, and nice

Bardstown Bourbon Co. Origin Series Wheated Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 14, 2025 (edited March 25, 2025)The nose is a little dust, saeet caramel and baking spice. On the tongue, warm and rich and big sweetness. A bit of caramel amkesnway to spice and heat and noce warmth from the proof. Its sweet and soicy and smooth. The wheat is really nice, reminiscent of antique 107 in my eyes. Very delicious. The finish is a little more proof than is there but not in a bad way. Very nice -
On the nose, sweet and warm banana bread. Fruity as well, with cherry notes and a little maple. Taste is light on the tongue at first but bursts to a rich and warm maple flavor. Banana bread with maple syrup on top is my best approximation with a bit of proof at the end. Very complex, warm and sweet. The oak is nice, not over oaked in my opinion. Very tasty, as someone who doesnt enjoy woodford reserve usually.

On the nose, prrof and sweetness. Maybe a little butterscotch. On the tongue, caramel and sweet initially. Its warm, its satisfying. A little oily but rich, smooth. The sweetness rounds out to a bit of oak, and then lightens up to heat and a little cinnamon. It has a burn on the finish, but its bot unpleasant. It has the heaven hill aweetness up front sith heat in the back end i have come to love but it definitely has a more cinnamon finish than say elijah craig. Maybe the proof. Its a nice pour, i found for $54 and its a good one.54.0 USD per Bottle

Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 2, 2025 (edited February 7, 2025)Smell is higher proof than it is, cinnamon, and a bit of sweetness. Initial flavor is malty vanilla, and a bit oily in the tongue. Theres a sweetness to it and then a warming to the end. A bit of honeysuckle. Its a good profile, and tastes nice and complex. Tasty! -
Warm, sweet and slight cinnamon on the nose. Maybe a little tobacco, very pleasant. Very rich and smooth vanilla ice cream on the tongue, and long caramel sweetness on the back-end. It does not taste like its proof at all, and i actually think the proof keeps it from being a total dessert. Its delicious, and a little bit different from the bourbons i have been drinking lately. Very smooth, the caramel finish is excellent. Highly recommend.100.0 USD per BottleForbes Liquor - Fine Wine & Spirits

On the nose, corn and honey and a touch of cinnamon. Smells sweet and inviting. Light on the tongue initially, cascades to a buttery warm caramel note. Sweetness is present, some vanilla and then a little heat. It has a nice fairly long finish thats warm and cinnamon but still sweet and easy. Very nice. I think a little more proof would go a long way but its bery tasty and approachable40.0 USD per Bottle

Old Forester 1897 Bottled In Bond
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 14, 2024 (edited January 4, 2025)On the nose, strong caramel apple note. Warm, spicy. The apple shines through, and though the expert states “red apple,” i believe it to be more of a green apple and a bit of alcohol. On the tongue. Warm and the green apple steals the show, mellows a bit to an oily sweet middle to a spicy, little musty and almost musty finish. A bit of that proof comes in at the end but the apple note stays all the way through. Almost a butterscotch sweetness as well before the heat. Apple is really prevalent, but its delicious and hot. The fruit note of it lightens it up quite a bit but it definitely has that leathery old bourbon flavor. Very noce and a bit complex, a nice pour!48.0 USD per Bottle
