Reviewed May 22, 2020 (edited July 7, 2020)Westland American Age: 3 years Proof: 92 Natural Color Non- chill filtered Nose: straight oak tannins. Slight hints of caramel & vanilla Palate: Rich. Peppery. Vanilla and caramel Mouthfeel: moderate Finish: bright, more pepper with lots of vanilla chasing the pepper. Score: A- I can see this being worth the $70 price. -

Reviewed April 20, 2020 (edited January 26, 2024)Thick nose of tar and peat. Sweet smoke that subsides as you enjoy the flavors followed light hints of sherry on the palate. Okay bonfire smoke on the finish. -
