Tastes

Nose: Vanilla and honey and very sweet. Some warm spice on the end Taste is high proof. Has bite. But it’s nice. Spice and brown sugar. Vanilla. Overall sweet with a bit of a bite and oak cask on the finish finish.

Good Whiskey Nose is nice but nothing spectacular. Taste is sweet. Brown sugar/molasses. Fruity too. Like berries. This whiskey shines on the finish though. Complex and lots to think about dissect. All of it is pleasant.

Sweet caramel nose. Some floral as well. Not too complex Sweet, floral, smooth. Not very complex vustvyaste nice. A fine single malt.

The nose is special. Vanilla Smells sweet and delicious. Like a warm pastry. But complex. There’s fruit and flowers too. The nose would get a perfect score. Taste is very very fruity. Sherry. Then some floral. Short finish. No bite.

Sweet. Brown sugar. Toasted marshmallow. A fine bourbon. To be honest, I just tried a sip of a friends after I had finished too many Scotches. Probably not fair to judge a fine whiskey like this when I’m drunk. So take this for what it is.

Wine, spices, Marshmallow and sweet bright fruit on the nose , something like a candy. Great powerful complex nose. Smooth. Then spicy Dark fruits. Rich thick and full body. Long, sweet, pleasant finish. Best 12 year whisky I’ve had. Will be a staple in my whisky shelf for a long time. Sweet and delicious finish. I love it

This is a scotch that will make you double take. Hey he nose is a little pedestrian at first and opens up to something pretty interesting. I get spice and toasted brown sugar. Unique. First taste is is sweet, friendly, and smooth. Then lots of exotic fruit. Short finish. Good whiskey.

I liked it more than any other bourbon I’ve ever had.

Not really a bourbon guy, I greatly prefer scotch. But I’m trying to broaden my horizons. This seemed very very sweet but it was complex enough to take me on a journey. Beyond the corn you could definitely taste the port influence. Nice finish.

Deserves its spot in the pantheon of the greats. So Smokey and delicious. The smoke relents in a unique and wonderful way shortly after swallowing - leaving a menthol feeling in your mouth and revealing a sweat and floral whiskey at the back end. Too good almost. Don’t miss it.
