Tastes

A classic example of a solid bourbon. Though it tastes a bit on the young side (strong nose of alcohol with a short finish) the heavy spice and vanilla notes make up for it's lack of years. For a readily available, relatively inexpensive whiskey, I'm planning on keeping one of these in my regular bar selection.

The next step up from Wild Turkey 101. heavy and complex while still being approachable either neat or with a cube. a great pour for the price for sure

This tastes like an older version of WT101. A little heavier and deeper, but all the same flavors are there. This has almost a bitter finish that sticks around the sides of your tongue. Not bad by any means, but hardly worth the price of entry in my opinion. I much prefer Russel's Reserve over this for both cost and taste factors.

A solid wheated Bourbon that is excellent for drinking neat or with a splash of water. Fantastic flavor at a decent price point. One of the best BiBs I've had in a long time. Thank you Shannon!

a light, sweet, molasses smoke
