Tastes

Nose: graphite, toasted oak, citrus, smoke Palate: marshmallow, apple, oily, Finish: medium, developing, astringent This has a great mouthfeel and is almost chewy. The sweetness blends nicely with the smoke. Very nice.

Nose: charcoal, leather, iodine, pepper, bacon grease Palate: Nutty, BBQ sauce, light Carmel, allspice. With water: baked apple, tobacco, oak Finish: warm (not hot), medium, last notes are sweeter with a not unpleasant sour note

Nose: lemon meringue, butterscotch, honey, toasted coconut Palate: honeycomb, slight peach note, vanilla, creme brûlée Finish: long, round, sweet but not overly so This is one of the few high $ NAS that is worth the money.

Apples, peach, molasses and baking spices. Hot but expected at 59 % abv. Long finish and more spicy on finish. Solid and on par with earlier batches of Aberlour A’bunadh
