I’ve given very few 5 star reviews. This deserves it. It’s balanced - drinks above its proof in flavor whilst drinking below its proof in ethanol - a somewhat rare trick.

One of the most nuanced noses I’ve come across. Honeysuckle, gentle green apple with equal measures of raisin mandarin orange toffee molasses. Palate is as described in the nose - I now understand why this is extremely hard to find and fetches a high premium. Well done Sazerac.

Sweeter 25% more viscous than regular Woodford Reserve. Very easy to drink - however at this price point u may fine more interesting pours.

Pretty much as listed on the packaging insert describes : Nose - Banana and honey Taste - Caramel, sweet raisins Finish - Dark Chocolate, fresh figs $229 steep but worth it if you like raisins figs and banana caramel.

One shot in Glencairn glass. Rested for ~ 30 minutes. Nose is butterscotch cherries oak. Taste of creamy butter veiled cherry soft tobacco. Medium finish - not hot at all. May benefit from water tho I rarely dilute so ymmv. If you can find it ....

Big fan of many WT products - think Rare breed , Decades - even Wild Turkey.... this is hyped - which is fine - it just isn’t as good as most of the rest of their line. Save your $.

The rum finish on this is quite pronounced and exquisitely executed. If you aren’t a rum fan - this probably isn’t for you. One of the more popular pours in my house.

If this doesn’t dent the hype around Japanese whiskey nothing will. Thin Splenda windex saltines - no thanks.
