The 2022 release for Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye is set for July of 2022. This Kentucky straight rye is made with rye, corn, and malted barley .
As with most recent releases, it was selected by master distiller Dan McKee, along with master of maturation Andrea Wilson. Due to limited supply, this will be the only 10 Year batch released for the year as the 10 Year Bourbon is being delayed until 2023.

Tasting Notes
"Sweet and herbal aromas of dill, pear, golden apple, cinnamon, and clove fill the nose. The palate is well structured with more toasty and spicy notes mixing with earthy green tea and bittersweet chocolate, along with a honeyed sweetness. The fruitiness present in the nose comes in at the back palate, adding an extra cushion to push the sweetness and spice through into the finish without excessive heat. This is a less dense and spicy rye, with fruit and green herbs stealing more of the spotlight for a cleaner balance. "
