Rhum impact, really nice and original

Smooth and sweet whisky. Really malty, with honey and vanilla flavor. Some peach notes for me. Really enjoyable for every day dram, with a really attractive price.

Buy it for cocktails for this price, and taste it alone. A little bit too much ethanol, but after a few minutes it's better. This is a malty whisky, with lemon notes. Quite simple but I found it really enjoyable. Second bottle was clearly less qualitative, with herbal dominant notes. Note from 3,25 to 2,75

Oaky, butter, vanilla, burned caramel. Warming middle with spices (clove, cinnamon). Smooth and dry ending. Overrated for me. But ok for the price.

Sweet, candied fruits, grape juice, dark chocolate. Delicately smoky. A real Porto impact. Interesting and original (my first Porto finish)!

Sweet honey and apricot. Very nice and original whisky.

Raisin Ice cream, totally. Cherry, little smoked. OK but quite simple, not my favorite of 12y collection.
