Fresh Fig & Pear on the nose. Palate is a smooth and subtle spice carrying thru to the finish. Very fresh and vibrant. One of the best sherry influenced whiskies I have ever tasted.

Absolutely phenomenal bourbon. Cherries, cinnamon, and chocolate on the nose. Palet matches, then finishes with a woody and musty medium finish! Arguably one of the best there is!

Honey, Pear, fresh fruit and sweet baking spice on the nose. Pallet delivers with sweet honey-forward flavor with less spice and a little vanilla. Short finish. Overall great whisky.

I thought I was crazy but I keep coming back to this and I get acetone on the nose. I mean it is uncanny. I do get a bit of vanilla, caramel, and spice but the acetone is prevalent. Taste is good but not whiskey of the year good.

My Abelour 12 is 40% ABV. Seems it was 43% at one time. I can smell and taste the potential but it just isn’t there on the pallet. Very light with a very short finish. Would have loved to have this at the higher ABV.
