The vanilla jumps right out at the first taste. Ots a smooth drink and doesnt disappoint.

Its got a simple, pleasant nose of carmel and vanilla, but a surprising spiciness on the finish. That isn’t to my taste, but its an enduring finish, such that it makes for a nice evening drink.

The carmel and vanilla flavors came through, but there is something about spirits finished in metal stills that takes away a dimension of flavor to me. Im glad to have tried it, but wont go back to it again.

Smooth start to finish. Heavy vanilla notes evocative of American bourbons. For an Anerican drinker, this has to be what Irish Whiskey is supposed to taste like.

The kind of crisp taste typical of a Japanese Scotch mash. The smokey smell even before it hits your palat is delightful. The nose is lighter than I expected and the finish is mild, but you can chew on it all day. Well suited to nurse all night.

Sweet and slow. Easy and light. Get a bottle of this!

Powerful Carmel or toffee nose. The typical kick-butt oily mouthfeel. Some spice kicks in mid-taste. Lovely.

Lily mouthfeel, rich honey flavor. Complex and fabulous. Beautiful!

Among the longest finish of any whisky I’ve tried. And the floral notes are pleasant.

A simple bourbon bordering on simplistic. Very sweet up front and a long spicy finish.
